Here are the before photos of the Girl's room at it's absolute pinacle of filth and slovinliness.

You gotta give her credit for best use of the floor as the world's largest shelf.

Interesting how much clothing she has, and yet she rarely can fine somethng to wear.

Note that she has not yet unpacked from her camp week, 2 weeks ago. Or, she's pulled the stuff out of the suitcase and just tossed it on the floor. That works.

The child really has it rough, doesn't she?

She's claimed to have cleaned her room this afternoon. I haven't been up there yet, but I'm betting her idea of clean and my idea of clean are two different things.

She did, however, bring up a broom and swept the floor.

I can't wait to see.

ha! I feel better about my own lack of 'neatness' now. ;)
I dread the teen years. I can only imagine what lies in store.
Michele sent me over to peak at my future.
LOL, LOL, LOL! It warmd my heart to see your Girl's room...to know that there is someone who actually had more "stuff" on the floor than I did, as a teen-ager! I can't wait to see the "After" photo's Margalit...
And BTW hopw fantastic that you got to see Lena H in Vegas in those years! What a true treat!
Michele sent me today but you know I'm here all the time, my pal in Boston.
Wow, that looks like MY daughter's room :)
I have THAT to look forward to, don't I? My son is only 2. Have mercy!

Thank you. I feel better about everything. (For me the word girl is plural)~,:^)
Howdy.. Michele sent me!
Her room still looks better than my 6 year olds.. Atleast you can see patches of your kiddo's floor..LOL...
My son is now 23 we used to let him keep his room as he liked it as long as there was no bug attracting old food etc in there. If someone was coming to the house his door was closed. He got better at keeping it up as he got older.

hahaha... my little sister's room was MUCH worse! It was literally 2 feet deep all over... we were shocked at all the stuff she gave to good will when she moved out!
thanks for stopping by my blog today! every time I visit you I remember how much I like you and your NelloDesign blog. I really should visit more often!
Ye gads, I don't look forward to pre-adolencence.
lol my idea of clean and my lil ones idea is NEVER the same either..lol
thanks for stopping by my place :)
ROFLOL...it's like looking at my daughters room...and she always complains she has nothing to wear also! It's just she can't find anything because it's not in her closet or drawers, it's on the floor! Drives me nuts...so I demand that the door stays closed!

Yikes! That's gonna take her all day Sunday to clean!

Wow! I've seen this room before. Oh! Yes! This is Nyssa's dorm room. Amazing! Wow, deja vu all over again.
I must go take some Advil now.

Oh my. Looks like my old roommate's side of the room. I am not a neat nik, but I couldn't live like that.
Haha well my room never gets that dirty, that's unbearable dirty for me, mostly my room consists of books and papers everywhere when it gets busy during the week but no way do I handle clothes and stuff scattered around.. lol I'd start cleaning right away. That's just me lol.
Looks like my daughters room.
Please post the "after" photos.
Man, does this bring back memories!

My daughter is totally oppisite she hates her room a mess! But the other looks similiar to that!
(visiting via Universal Hub).
I have a 13 year old, her room often looks like this.
I've never thought of using the net to post pictures of it, but... you've inspired me. i have her blogroll for her journal. i can send my link to all her friends.
heh.
Oh my! That looks sadly familiar. What's truly sad is that my kids will tell me their rooms are clean, and they'll still look exactly like this. "But I know where everything is, Mom."
I can't fault her for having tons of clothes yet nothing to wear, as I'm in the same boat. I woke up this morning to a clean bedroom with a visible floor and realized that I didn't actually remember cleaning it. No, I hadn't been drinking. I guess I was in some sort of cleaning haze or something! Tell the girl to put on some peppy music; that always helped me clean my room when I was young enough to live with my parents.
If cleanliness is next to godliness, your baby girl is reassuringly human. ;-) This cracks me up.
What--there's a problem here?
