Linkyloo, or roaming the blogosphere

Look what fun things I found today while checking out the wonderful world o' blogs. Some of them are gorgeous, some are... well, you decide what they are. Some are just plain fun.

From kenju's brand new blog. Pencils and trees. A wooden theme. The pencils are amazing.

Link from Pasty. This one, oh man it is mortifying. Watch the whole thing. Please. Beyond embarassing. Beyond Jay Leno. Beyond anything you can possibly believe about your fellow Americans. I found it so upsetting. HOW can people be so estupido? If this isn't a reason to start reading the paper and listening to the news (I recommend NPR) I don't know what is. Like, do you want to appear this dumb? I sure don't.

Karen talks about mothering when your kids are older and no longer need you every second of the day. Boy, can I relate!

Do you know Carmi? His blog is always very thought provoking, and I have a feeling he is one of the most interesting and intelligent bloggers around. He blogs about photography, parenting his 3 children, technology, and much about journalism. Don't miss him.

Have you been following this adoption story? The American Family is leaving for China next week to pick up their new daughter and everything is SO exciting. I can't wait to meet the newest member of the American Family.

Real vs gorgeous style magazine living? Yeah. The photos are retouched.

Blog that tears me apart with sadness and hope. Don't read without the large box of tissues by your side.

Local food blogger makes me hungry with every post. She teachs kids how to be great cooks. Her classroom is around the corner. How I would love to send the kids to her.

Ever wonder what Running a Hospital might be like? Read all about it, plus discussions on medical ethics, how hospitals communicate with the public, etc. Written by another local guy.

Love you some celeb real estate? Have a few million to invest in ridiculously overpriced Hollywood properties? It's all here.

Meet Danny Miller. Danny loves movies. Old movies. Danny likes to talk about growing up in the 60's. Danny is funny. Danny is introspective. Danny is a brillaint writer. You'll love Danny.

Lastly, if you don't yet know RenReb, you're missing out on a vital part of a great blogging experience. She's funny, she's a Rabbi's wife, she's irreverant, and she's Orthodox. Read her.

Oh, and it's a little bit nippy in the house. Just a tad. Only 3 blankets, a hoodie, a hat, and a scarf. A delightful ensemble donned just for you. Because frankly, I'd be under the comforter on the sofa if I weren't linking just for you. Yes, you! Aren't you lucky? Don't you feel the gratitude flowing from your pores? Heh.

Frankly, I've never looked bettah!

Actually, that cube is the Girls, and she was so frustrated with it that she ripped off a few of the stickers to try and solve it the cheaters way. That is because a kid that went to her school is the second place Cube champion and he can do it in something like 11 seconds. We hate him!
