Boston, have we not learned that Mooninites aren't real?

This morning one of the two high schools in town had a 'bomb scare'. Suspicious packages. Bomb squad. School emptied. Searched. With robots.

What was found? Backpacks. A marketing campaign. Really stupid MySpace competitor. Oy vey!

This is the same high school that was featured last week on the front page of the NY Times about high achieving girls. The very same high school that has caused a major rift in our fair city due to the replacement costs and design of said high school. Hey, maybe it should have blown up. That would have reduced the construction costs for the new school significantly.

Such a waste of money. Such a waste of time. So freaking stupid. Throw the book at the marketeers.

Oh boy. I read that NYTimes piece and thought, what is this world coming to....?

And while it`s true that I don`t read your blog every single day, I DO drop in and catch up!!! (Though admittedly my comments are about as rare as a Bush-supporter in San Francisco.)
