Breaking News!

This just happened. The Girl went out the back door to head to her friend's house. She came back a minute later screaming bloody murder and in tears. There was a wild turkey in the yard. It came right at her. She got scared. It got scared. They both ran away. Turkey is now sauntering down the road behind our house. Heh.

Do you think he smelled his cousin Tom warming up in the oven?

I've seen wild turkeys in Jamaica Plain, where I live, and in Brookline. They are huge!

We usually get up to 15 wild turkeys in our yard at some point during the year. I don't blame your daughter for being in tears - those things are HUGE!
