He is HOME!

Picked up the Boy this afternoon and he is now home, on the phone, and feeling fine. Phew. It only took 4 phone calls to the school, one to the hospital, and the attempt to send email to school about a bazillion times before I realized that their new spam blocker has literally cut off all communication to the school from yahoo, hotmail, and gmail. Now isn't that convenient? I do have a Verizon email account, but I have never once used it and don't even know what the username and password are. So much for easy communication with the school.

Miraculously, last night while I was perusing my favorite part of Craigslist, the FREE column, I saw an ad for free daylilys from a person almost around the corner from the hospital. So we stopped there on the way home and got the very last bag they had. A big bag, which should sprout into a really nice bunch of daylilys within a couple of months. I can't wait to plant.

For everyone who has been feeling out of sorts over the horrendous weather we've had here this spring, what a wonderfully delightful reprieve. I'm wearing shorts, it's in the 80's, the magnolias, forsythia, and daffodils have all burst forth this morning, and it's finally looking like spring. Just having a day like this makes all the difference in how I feel. We all were a bit vitamin D deficient here in New England. It's wonderful to be able to catch up!

In summing up, if I could find the bandaid box, life would be perfecto right now.
