Is this our year?

Four straight homers in a row. FOUR HOME RUNS IN A ROW. Go Red Sox!

Manny first, over the Green Monster and onto Lansdowne Street. At least he didn't hit a parked car!

Then J.D. Drew hit over the Boston bullpen into the right center-field bleachers.

Mike Lowell hit over the wall at left field.

Tek hit another liner over the Green Monster.

And Dice-K pitched his first win over the dreaded evil empire from NY. He killed the pinstripes.

Meanwhile, SWEEP! Oh yeah, it was hot in Fenway this weekend.

What? You say that the Yankee's Suck. Um, duh. Loved the A-Rod booing. Every time he was at bat, I had to smile. Booooooo. Yeah, he's hot. But their pitching sucks. Heh.

In other Boston news, Mass Ave Bridge was closed today from 6 am to 3 pm for a movie shooting. 9 hours for a 45 second backdrop shot. OK. Lucky we weren't TOO inconvenienced.

Film is to be called 21, and is based on the most excellent book "Bringing Down the House", a true story of a group of MIT kids who built a gambling empire and took Vegas, Atlantic City, and several Riverboat gambling casinos for millions. It's an enthralling read, if a bit heavy on the math.

What do you expect from MIT students, though!

dice-k should have been warned after hitting a-rod and tossed after hitting jeter. nor did he exactly "kill" the yankees. a real rookie, not some old japanese guy, made some mistakes.

i am neither a yankees or red sox fan. i'm a baseball fan. i'm waiting for dice-k to impress me. he hasn't.
