The Latest in Interior Decor

Some of you get new furniture. Some rearrange what they have. Some stage their houses. Me, I add bodies. Many many bodies.

The Girl and BFF shared the sofa. That had to be uncomfortable.

Doesn't my flash work well? I took these photos at 2 am, almost everyone was asleep, it looked like a morgue with many different blankets.

Note the cellphone usage at 2 am. Ahem.

One of the girls was complaining that the floor was uncomfortable and wanted to bring down the Girl's mattress. Uh, where was she planning to put it?

You cannot even believe what the kitchen looked like this morning. It was frightening. They made pancakes. Twice. There were lumps of batter everywhere. The table was encrusted with maple and raspberry syrup. They used so many glasses that they didn't all fit in the dishwasher.

Yes, there really is a body under that down comforter.

We are all so tired and grumpy today. The girls have all thankfully, departed. But there are definite feelings of misery and exhaustion. This will never, ever happen again. NEVER.

They had a blast. The Girl said it was really fun. I'm happy about that. But...never.

Oh wow does that bring back memories... Ones that were fun enough that I'll probably take temporary leave of my senses someday when my kids ask for a slumber party and actually say yes.

Wow! I have an almost 5 year old girl and a three year old girl. Is this what I have to look forward to? Too many hormones lolling about. And I think they are scary now. What a great Mom you must be!
