Karl Rove Hits Yellow Brick Road

We interrupt the story of me to cover this breaking news: Karl Rove is quitting the White House. He'll be gone at the end of August. The sun will shine brightly, the world will be a little bit safer, and Karl will join those "whom you meet in your travels, the ordinary Americans who tell you they are praying for you." Thanks, but no thanks, Karl. Your prayers are evil and death-filled. I want no part of your relationship with your cockamamy God.

The Shrub is grimmer than usual. His gray face shows the strain of actually having to, maybe, think for himself. No Rumsfield, no Rove behind him, only Cheney wheezing with heart disease to advise him. May God only strike Cheney down and leave the Shrub on his own so the world can see what a pathetic idiot the American people 'elected'.... twice. May God have pity on us all.

You'll never guess what Rove is planning for after his departure at the end of the month. Now, hold on to your hats: Rove is planning to write a book! Go Figure! What could the title be? "Lies I've Told, Wars I've Started"? "How to ruin a country in 8 simple years"? The mind boggles!

Yet another guilty man goes free. It's the Amurican way, if you're a friend of the Shrub.

And I thought that back to school was the best event of the month so far. Yahoo!
I love your reference to GWB as the Shrub. Tickles me to death.
