Look what I got.

Janice of Twist and Skewer fame awarded me with the WonderWoman award for being the toughest mom she knows. Well, I don't know about that. I'm more of a survivor by default than tough, but then again, when I think of what I do on a daily basis, and thing of other mommy types who fall apart when their kids won't potty train on demand, I guess I must be tougher than most. And much much more tired!

But now I have to award someone else who deserves this award. Who to honor, hmmmm? Well, how about Nina of Voted Off The Island. If you think I've had a couple of rough years, go visit my friend Nina. Cancer survivor, recent hideously ugly public divorce, move from her home base to the bowels of the deep south. THIS is a Wonder Woman. And probably the best woman friend a girl could have. Smart, funny, interesting, enlightened. She's truly my favorite Wonder Woman.

Definitely a survivor -- and typical of strong women, you pointed to another strong woman and said, "No, look at her!" congrats on this well-deserved award!
