It's a miracle. Not even a Christmas miracle. A plain old Miracle Miracle. School has already been called off for tomorrow. This NEVER happens in my city. NEVER. It is unheard of. Evidentally there have been so many complaints that the school Superintendent waits until the last possible second to cancel, thus sending our students out in all sorts of inclement weather, that he honest to God sent out the reverse 911 message tonight. TONIGHT, people. No more calls at 6 am. No more watching the TV in the dark hoping against hope that the crawl will mention your school.

SNOW DAY! We'll be sledding on our hill if you need us.

Wa-Hoo, and thank you Jeff Young for at last coming to your senses. I never thought it would happen!

SNOW DAY! Yippee! Enjoy the sledding, and think of us down here in snowless Maryland. :-)

OOOh! I would have so loved to be able to stay in bed this morning. No such luck over here. Enjoy it and think of the rest of us!

Oh, I envy you. We have a new superintendent in town, and he thinks snow days are for wimps. Bleh. No fun.
