The Girl is sick

What else can I say. I'm going. She's staying home sick. She'll be fine. Please...tell me she'll be fine. Fever, headache, neckache (yes, I'm freaked out about meningitis), sore throat. I have her medical proxy letter written with all necessary phone and hospital numbers. I've called her medical proxy person to warn her. She'll be OK. I know she will.

And I'm still going. Don't you bad mama me. I need this so badly you can't even imagine. I'm going!

I think you set up a lot of safety nets. Go! She's old enough.

Go! This is what cell phones are for. She'll keep in touch if she needs your reassurance, and you've set up the safety support system well.

Daisy, she only called me 5 times BEFORE the plane took off, then she cleaned the entire downstairs (she was really bored) and called me again after the flight landed and again at dinner.

Her brother called once. Sigh! Miss them but I'm in Washington and they're not!
