Can you imagine this?

This makes me so sad. How can someone do this? We have safe havens in this state. This address isn't that far from a fire station or a hospital. How can you put a baby in a tote bag and just drop it on some stranger's doorstep. How did they even know that this man would go outside to check the weather?

This is what is going to happen more and more if Sarah Palen has her way. Babies abandoned. It doesn't get worse than this.

I can't believe she waited so long to ask whether the baby was breathing! If she really thought there was a chance it wasn't, shouldn't she have asked that earlier?

Helen, I really don't know. I guess she was so taken aback by this. I mean, it's not something that happens every day or year or even decade. The last report from the hospital said that the baby was doing great. Umbilical cord was still attached and it was a strong, healthy baby girl.

Yeah, because it is way worse to deliver a healthy baby and leave it in front of a very nice home, then to kill it anonymously at the butchers, I mean abortionists. That makes a whole bunch of sense. What were you thinking?

Jennie, I was thinking that we have a safe haven law in this state, this family lived within a mile of both of hospital and a fire station, and the mother is facing child abandonment and child abuse charges because she left her baby on some strangers doorstep.

And I was also thinking that without ANY CHOICE but to have babies under the Republicans who vow to dismantle Roe v Wade, there are going to be a LOT more babies abandoned. In garbage dumps, in rivers and ponds, in woods, in public bathrooms, etc.

Like isn't THAT better than a legal, early termination.

Abortionists ARE NOT BUTCHERS. At least not now. They are doctors. With the legal right to perform abortions to any woman that chooses NOT to carry a pregnancy to term.

You're asking the WRONG questions to the WRONG person. I believe in CHOICE. The choice to have a baby, the choice not to. I believe rhat abortion is a last resort, but that it is necessary in order to have healthy, wanted children. As an unwanted and unloved child, I think I MIGHT have a bit more insight on this than the old Republican bottom line of women are too ignorant to know what to do with their bodies so we'll let right wing WHITE men decide for us. Yeah, so not happening on my watch.
