Back from the Abyss

After 18 months off from blogging, I'm going to be back in business on January 1. Now don't faint with excitement!

The new addition will be different. I won't be blogging much about the kids, who are both doing very well, thank you very much.

I will be blogging about moving into the City of Boston after living in the burbs my entire adult life.

And of course I'll be ranting about local and national politics as well as anything else that sets me off.

I'll also blog about healthcare, cooking, baking, and other assorted food stuff.

I probably will mention books I've been reading, movies I've seen, and places I've visited (the latter being boring as I never go anywhere interesting, but you never know!)

I'm leaving this blog public, but I expect some greater sense of polite conversations than I've had in the past. In other words, if you start ragging on me, I'm not going to respond other than to block you.

I'm coming back trusting that the great haters of the blogworld have moved on and forgotten about lil ol' me. And I'm psyched to write again after such a long holiday. I can't wait to hear what my former readers are up to, so please say "Hi" if you've gotten this far!

See you in 2011.
